We are delighted to announce a brand new event is taking place to mark Edinburgh Zoo’s centenary year called – Edinburgh Zoo Nights!
It is a first for the Zoo and a first for Scotland. Where we will be opening up the Zoo on two Friday evenings so adults can enjoy a drink in our unique surroundings. Not only will you be able to see what the animals in the zoo get up to of an evening, you will also be able to enjoy the array of food, drink and entertainment we’re laying on.
The Budongo trail will be transformed into a vintage cocktail tea party with stand-up comedy in the lecture theatre; the central lawn will become a mecca for food and drink; Jungle Café will host the silent disco; education will be home to animal handling sessions; and street performers and musicians will pop up to entertain you along the way. Your taste buds will water with the food and drink on offer – tapas, champagne, seafood, Pimm’s, picnics, street food, cocktails, sushi, fish and chips and a BBQ. So come to the Zoo for your after work drinks on Friday 24th May and Friday 28th June.
